Drop Zone Next Mission Youth Foundation (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of student-athletes, parents, and guardians who interact with our website at dropzonenm.org.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including when you submit a training inquiry, complete a scholarship application, or contact us. This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, and information about student-athletes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries, process scholarship applications, communicate about programs, and improve our services. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Analytics and Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (“GA4”), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors find and use our website so we can improve it. GA4 is used for site measurement only — we do not use it for advertising, remarketing, or building advertising audiences.

What Google Analytics collects. When you visit our site, GA4 may collect: the pages you view and the time spent on them; the approximate geographic location derived from your IP address (city or region level — Google truncates IP addresses and does not report the full address to us); your device type, operating system, browser, and screen size; the referring website or search engine that brought you here; and anonymous identifiers used to recognize returning visits. We also record a small number of anonymous events, such as when a donation is completed, so we can count conversions. These events contain no personal information.

Cookies. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (typically named _ga and _ga_<container-id>) on your device to distinguish one visitor from another and to measure repeat visits. These cookies do not identify you by name and are not linked to any scholarship application, contact form submission, or other information you provide to us directly. You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time.

We never send your personal information to Google. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, academic records, athletic statistics, uploaded documents, and any other information submitted through a scholarship application or contact form are stored in our own secured database and are never transmitted to Google Analytics. Our administrative pages, where student-athlete records are viewed, are excluded from analytics entirely.

How to opt out. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” setting and controls for blocking cookies. Opting out will not affect your ability to use any part of this website, including submitting a scholarship application. Children's privacy. Our programs serve youth athletes, and scholarship applications are submitted by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly use analytics to identify or profile individual minors, and we do not serve targeted advertising on this site.
